There are a lots of celebration in Serian. The most common in Serian is Gawai Dayak Day. Every 1st June, the Iban and Bidayuh will celebrate Gawai Dayak. During the festival, there will be a lot of traditional food and beverages served. There are also some traditional dance being perform in traditional costume by both Iban and Bidayuh in Serian. Bidayuh dance is called langgie while the Iban dance is called ngajat. For Muslim, they celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Adha (Qurban) by wearing Baju Melayu. Similar to other ethnic as Cina ethnic celebrate Happy Chinese New Year.
